8/31/11

I chose the Castles of Augustusburg and Falkenlust at Bruhl and the Wurzburg Residence with the Court Gardens and Residence Square. Honestly what girl doesn't want to write about pretty, extravagant palaces? While both were built in the 1700's, they have different outside appearances. The Wurzburg Residence reminds me of Buckingham Palace, while Augustusburg makes me think of the homes I saw along a Swiss lake. Both are intricate and detailed, along with the grounds. Overall, I think that the Wurzburg Residence with the Court Gardens and Residence Square were awesome, because Napoleon Bonaparte stayed there, although Augustusburg became Source:a reception hall for guests of state by the German President,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W%C3%BCrzburg_Residence_with_the_Court_Gardens_and_Residence_Square, 8/30/11, from the end of WWII until 1994. In conclusion, both are equal interesting places.
